The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 'Manchester' Is Launching This Weekend

When The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 'City Series' was first unveiled last month, the sneaker community went crazy. Made with the help of creatives and community members across three British cities, every single pair was just straight fire. Following last weekend's 'Glasgow' drop that sold out in a split second, the 'Manchester' colourway is now just around the corner, and here's what you need to know.

Featuring a much darker makeup compared to the other two releases, the 'Manchester' is painted in an all black palette with hi-vis accents that pay homage to workwear. Made for the wet and windy months ahead, Cordura fabric has been implemented across the upper, while water resistant textiles also feature adding a utilitarian aspect to the AM90.

Moving downwards, you'll find the classic Air midsole for comfort that knows no bounds, and just underneath this, the message "REAL PEOPLE DO REAL THINGS"; can be seen, housed within a transparent rubber outsole. To round it all off, a must loved jewel Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial sides, and a pull-tab system adds a level of technical functionality.
