The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 City Manchester is the perfect depiction of the 0161. Trying to capture the cities fearlessness and how it forever defies expectations, this blacked out sneaker is one of the crowning jewels of the ‘City Pack’.
Wrapped in 2 types of water-resistant Codura, this robust material is contrasted by hits of nubuck that offer a nice juxtaposition across the shoe. This is clearly something that runs across the sneaker highlighted by the bold and subtle colour palette used.
Coming with tones of black all the way across the upper, this is contrasted by the volt hits found on the accents. With the quarter panel running around the shoe being made up from black 3M, we also find this on the tongue pull-tab and heel to keep up the sneakers stealthy aesthetic. A jewel swoosh is the final piece of this amazing jigsaw to create one of the best shoes of the year.
