Updated 10/10/23: Having hinted at the return of their collaborative Air Force 1 early next year, Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike are continuing to build momentum by dropping the official images for this year’s project - the CPFM x Nike Air Flea 2. One of the duo’s more experimental pairs, the style was first previewed at Rolling Loud Miami, before a second, mismatched colourway appeared just a few months later.
Packed with plenty of removable features, the CPFM x Nike Air Flea 2 offers up a load of customisation options, including removable oversized Swooshes and themed badges. What we hadn’t seen before however, was the glow-in-the-dark detailing on the bottom of the sole, designed in the shape of a bear foot.
Though a release date is still TBC for both the “Black” and “Faded Spruce” Air Flea 2 colourways, they are expected to drop during the holiday season. In the meantime, check out the official images below, and scroll for more info on each individual pair.
Updated 14/9/23: Back in July, we got a first look at the latest collaboration between Nike and Cactus Plant Flea Market, the super chunky, tyre truck-inspired Air Flea 2. Originally previewed in a blacked-out colourway, the model has now been revealed to arrive in a second colour palette, dubbed “Faded Spruce”.
Maintaining the same bulbous outsole, oversized straps and removable Swooshes, the “Faded Spruce” colourway sees the shoe’s neoprene uppers arrive in a mismatched teal and blue, as well as more colourful touches on the pull tabs and sole detailing. Therefore, the left pair opts for a more green-toned make-up, with yellow tabs and a brown sole detail, whereas the right features navy neoprene uppers, with blue tabs and red detailing. New images of the pair also reveal a branded dustbag, as well as a good look at the removable accessories, which include mini Swooshes, bug decals and yin-yang badges.

Original Article: Earlier this year, Nike announced a leadership shake-up, citing that it was on a ‘quest for innovation’ after being accused of having a ‘stale’ product catalogue. However, as it turns out, all the Swoosh had to do was join forces with Cactus Plant Flea Market once again, as the
Debuting on the feet of Turnstile bassist Franz Lyons at Rolling Loud Miami, CPFM and Nike have managed to make a shoe that’s even wilder than their last fur-covered effort. This time, the duo has ditched the hairy texture for something much more practical, as heavy-duty, tyre-like treads wrap their way around the shoe’s mudguards and toe box. The CPFM x Nike Air Flea 2’s uppers come cut from neoprene, and an elastic throat is held down by two big velcro straps for a customisable fit, once again adding to the overall practicality of the silhouette.
Of course, CPFM and Nike branding hits can be spotted throughout, the most obvious being the (presumably) removable oversized white Swooshes that put their stamp on the model's sidewalls, while smaller Flea 2 wordmarks grace the tongue and heel tabs. The style also comes dotted with snap button details that suggest that pairs will be customisable, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer to see what options we’ll be given here.
