Edison Chen and Kevin Poon are going all out this season. After officially taking the wraps off their Air Jordan 14 Low last week, the power duo have now unleashed the CLOT x Air Jordan 35 SP "Warrior Jade", and it elevates the basketball silhouette to a whole other level. While the AJ14 was inspired by the Terracotta Army, this particular collaboration pays homage to the green jade stone that plays a huge role in Chinese culture.
Taking on the newly announced Air Jordan 35, the "Warrior Jade" is done up in nothing but the most premium materials. Light grey suede makes its way across the entire shoe, while striking red accents descend upon the inner sockliner and Flywire for luck. Luxurious gold accents feature on the Jumpman embroidery and eyelets, while additional branding can be found around the heel in the form of co-branded pull tabs.
Of course, you can't talk about this AJ35 without mentioning the jade-influenced Eclipse Plate that provides wearers with efficient energy return. This is then rounded off with a greyed out Nike Zoom Air midsole that's insanely comfortable both on and off the court, finalising the design.
Expected to drop at CLOT's webstore and pop-up locations in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taichung, and Taipei on February 8th, the CLOT x Nike Air Jordan 35 SP "Warrior Jade" will then get a much wider release three days later on February 11th - just one day before Chinese New Year! Let us know what you think of this upcoming collaboration, and in related news, the Air Jordan 1 High OG "University Blue" has been delayed!
