The CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "Kiss Of Death" is Returning Next Month
With an Air Jordan 14 Low and Air Jordan 35 set to drop this month, it looks like Edison Chen and Kevin Poon are also readying the return of the legendary CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "Kiss Of Death". A rumour that surfaced all the way back in May, the iconic collaboration will be making its coveted comeback sooner than we had expected!
First released back in 2006 to celebrate the opening of China's first sneaker boutique, this Air Max 1 is unlike anything we've seen before. Featuring a premium construction that combines "Net" beige suede with "Deep Red" leather, you'll also find a dash of "Orange Blazer" throughout for an additional pop of contrast. Bright green accents hit the tongue and top eyelets, while the heel is done up with a traditional Chinese pattern complete with CLOT's signature logo.
Of course, you can't talk about this Nike collab without mentioning the see-through toebox that allows you to take a peek at the custom insoles within. These take inspiration from the idea of "chi" which in Chinese culture is the vital life force that flows through the body.
Expected to make a comeback on Air Max Day next month, rumour has it that the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "Kiss Of Death" will also release in two additional colourways, but this remains to be seen.
