Edison Chen and Kevin Poon are always finding ways to break new ground with sneaker materials. With their Air Max 1, the entire toebox was done up in a crystal clear plastic, and additional fabric innovations were introduced in their coveted sacai collaboration. For 2022, the power duo will be reuniting with the Beaverton brand, this time for the hotly anticipated CLOT x Nike Flux Dunk - and here's everything that you need to know.
Taking inspiration from the traditional philosophy of Yin and Yang, CLOT's take on the legendary Dunk drops the usual full leather construction in favour of a shiny lenticular material that changes it's appearance depending on how you look at them. Painted in a metallic silver hue, the classic panelling has been switched out for a smooth, one-piece design that's divided by contrast white stitching.
A Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, while co-branded detailing arrives on the tongue. To round off the design, the midsole has is dipped in an ultra clean all-white hue that's perfect for the warmer months ahead.
