The Concepts x New Balance 327 "Cape" Is Inspired by a Famous Cocktail

With the New Balance 327 fast-becoming one of the most hyped new silhouettes of 2020, it was only a matter of time before we saw some awesome collaborations start to surface. The Concepts x New Balance 327 “Cape Cod” has just been unveiled, and the pair is inspired by a beloved cocktail known as the Cranberry Bog Fog.

New Balance and Concepts have collaborated plenty of times before, with both labels hailing from Boston. Cape Cod itself is a region in the USA that’s famed for growing cranberries, and also the home of the aforementioned cranberry vodka drink!

The retro-looking silhouette is decked out in a deep-red colorway that’s instantly reminiscent of the juicy berries, while New Balance’s oversized N logo takes pride of place on the lateral side of both shoes. Hints of baby blue and white accentuate the look further, really making these pop and look like a special edition pair!

EVA foam midsoles reside underfoot to make sure that these are comfortable everyday steppers, while dual-branded tongues add a limited-edition touch to the design. Here at The Sole Supplier we’re huge fans of the NB 327, so we’re delighted to see an impressive collaborative effort set to launch!
