With the Olympic Games literally just around the corner, Nike Running have unleashed a four-shoe collection that aims to propel athletes to their highest potential. Comprising of the long-awaited Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT%, the Air Zoom Tempo NEXT%, the Air Zoom ViperFly, and the Air Zoom Victory, the latter two of which are paired with track spikes, each model is painted in a black and neon green colour scheme.
The Air Zoom AlphaFly NEXT% was the shoe that helped Eliud Kipchoge crush the sub-two hour marathon at the end of last year. Marketed as the Swoosh's fastest distance shoe to date, it boasts an ultra light upper as well as a Zoom Air midsole that's infused with a carbon fibre plate.
The Air Zoom Tempo NEXT%, on the other hand, is crafted Flyknit with a supportive band for the perfect fit. In terms of a release date, the AlphaFly and Tempo will drop sometime in February and autumn, respectively.
Moving on to the spike silhouettes, the Air Zoom ViperFly and the Air Zoom Victory are being touted as Nike’s speediest and most efficient track spikes ever made. Constructed from the Beaverton brand's new Atomknit, they'll be dropping this summer just in time for the Games.
Let us know what you think of the Nike Running collection, and while you're here, take a look at the next Off-White x Nike sneaker that fuses the P-6000 with the Dunk Low!
