New Balance's award-winning model, the 992, continues to dominate the fashion landscape along with its stream of collaborators. Partners such as Paperboy Paris Cafe and Levi's are just two of many renowned names from diverse industries who have approached the New Balance 992 with their signature motifs—creating a one-of-a-kind design.
As for its new colourway, the silhouette is serving itself as a blank canvas for Philadelphia-based high-end tailoring service Damari Savile. The co-branded ensemble sees the Damari Savile x New Balance 992 "Culture First" pack in two contrasting colourways while still maintaining the label's distinctive colourful touch traditionally seen on their bespoke suits.
The "Cream Copper" colourway indulges in its titular hues, adorning the mixed suede, mesh, and leather-woven panels. The counterpart, "Grey Pink", however, opts for hits of black and grey for a stealthy look and accented with faux snakeskin overlays around the collars, tongues, and leather slabs forefoot. A vibrant pink and teal hue adds a pop of contrast via the suede pieces, shoelaces, and the profile "N" logos. Cementing the collab is the text "CULTURE FIRST" positioned on the heel logo windows, and a classic New Balance ABZORB and ENCAP midsole unit underfoot.
