The DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 “We the Best” Collection Is Expected to Release This Year

Earlier this year, sneakerheads and fans of DJ Khaled were pleased to see early images of the American music star's upcoming footwear collaboration on Michael Jordan's Air Jordan 5 model. Since the silhouette debuted in 1990, the AJ5 remained at the front of Nike's line-up — available in GRs and limited-edition collabs like the DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 "We The Best".

The upcoming Jordan 5 collection from DJ Khaled sees a few colourways: "Bone", "Blue", "Purple", "Pink", "Teal", and "Orange". All pairs are crafted with tumbled leather and satin interiors for a premium look. They also maintain traditional AJ5 elements like the TPU midfoot overlays, lace toggles, Jumpman-branded reflective tongues, and WW2 fighter jet-inspired shark teeth graphic printed on the Air midsole.

Completing the ensemble is DJ Khaled's second studio album title, "We The Best", embroidered on the back heels of the left shoe while the right features "Nike Air" branding.

With that said, reports say that two colourways are Friends & Family-exclusive pairs. The rest are rumoured to release by the end of 2022.
