The rumour that the DQM x Nike Air Max 90 "Bacon" was making a comeback stems all the way back to late 2019. Originally released in 2005, the pork-inspired AM90 was made in collaboration with skate store Dave's Quality Meats before the brand shut up shop. With that said, it continues to be one of the most iconic colourways even sixteen years later. If you didn't manage to secure a pair back in the day, then now's your chance, as they're finally returning this week on March 26th!
Inspired by everyone's favourite cured meat, the "Bacon" boasts an ultra premium construction that combines luxurious leather with supple suede. Working on a light cream base, bold red panelling features across the lateral and medial side panels, while tan hues descend upon the laces and inner lining. You'll also find soft pink tones on the tongue and Nike Swoosh as well as an ode to its inspiration.
Underneath the Air Max 90, you'll be presented with an Air midsole that's as comfortable as it gets, and to round it all off, each AM90 comes with some anatomical arch supports and three pairs of laces.
Returning this week on March 26th, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop the DQM x Nike Air Max 90 "Bacon"! Let us know if you'll be grabbing a pair, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Stingwater x Nike SB Dunk Low!
