The Nike Air Max 90 Bacon is one of several colorways that remains a commodity on the resell market and is amongst the many rare 90s to feature in the hall of fame. Nike collaborated with New York clothing boutique Dave's Quality Meat back in 2005 to deliver a crep that'll leave sneakerheads globally craving to cop. Though that legendary store is now closed, the legacy of their bacon-inspired Air Max 90 still lives on.
Just like the original, a colourway of pink, red and beige pulls inspiration from a juicy slab of pork belly. Whilst the theme might seem odd, it was actually a homage to the butcher shop theme of Dave Ortiz's popular NYC store. This sizzling AM90 gets ever more appealing thanks to ultra-premium layers of suede alongside soft leather overlays. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without that crispy outsole featuring in dark brown whilst the visible Air Unit sports that tonal shade of pink.
The Air Max 90 Bacon should no doubt be in every sneakerhead's rotation, if you're keen on copping these, make sure you know how they fit by using our Air Max 90 size guide.
