Earlier this summer, we took a sneak peek at the fragment design x Air Jordan 3 that never was. Originally supposed to drop as part of Hiroshi Fujiwara's "The Ten" Collection before Virgil Abloh swooped in, the collab was quickly shelved. With that said, it looks like destiny had other plans for the Japanese designer, as rumour has it that his Air Jordan 3 could be dropping as soon as this year!
According to sneaker insiders @zsneakerheadz, the fragment AJ3 will feature an ultra understated black and white palette. Crafted from premium leather, various textures feature throughout for added depth, while a smooth mudguard surrounds the upper for a bold contrast.
Of course, you can't talk about this high heat collab without mentioning the brand's legendary lightning bolt logo that makes a cameo at the heel. While this is just an early mock-up for now, Fujiwara was spotted wearing these a few days ago, so we can pretty much assume that they're accurate.
Expected to drop sometime this autumn, the fragment design x Nike Air Jordan 3 should not be missed, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Are you interested in these? Let us know, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the fragment design x sacai x Nike LDWaffle!
