It was a shoe that caused a stir before it was even released, and now it’s finally landed we can’t wait to pick up a pair. The adiFOM Q is adidas’ own answer to the EVA clog trend, sitting nicely alongside Salehe Bembery’s Pollex Clog, and of course the Yeezy Foam Runner. But, on closer inspection, you’ll notice that this pair is even better than the Foam Runner, and that’s all down to the little details that the 3-Stripes have added in order to up both the comfort and practicality levels.
Sporting a familiar look to its futuristic-themed counterparts but based on a sneaker from the 3-Stripes archive, the adidas adiFOM Q comes crafted from foam that’s made from at least 50% recycled materials. The moulded upper features cut-out panels that expose a neoprene bootie underneath, which gives the sneaker more of a snug fit than similar styles. The shoe also boasts Adiplus cushioning in the midsole, ensuring a more comfortable underfoot feel.
Unlike other similar styles, the adiFOM Q also forgoes the slip-on style for a laced fastening, which allows for extra security and comfort - making them perfect for any expedition. Currently available in a number of colourways, be sure to shop the pairs now at adidas, as they’re sure to sell out very quickly!
