The Highly Anticipated Nike Mac Attack "OG" is Set to Make Its Return Very Soon

Article updated 21/11/23: After being teased for a solid portion of the year, a release date for the Nike Mac Attack "OG" has finally been revealed. According to a post by @offspringhq, The Nike Attack OG will launch on the 27th of November.

It's worth noting that despite Travis Scott's involvement in the campaign, his signature backwards Swoosh rendition of the shoe will not launch on the same date. Rumours are pointing to a 2nd of December release for this iteration, so make sure to check out the article here for more details.

Original article: After an activation campaign with none other than Travis Scott and John McEnroe, the Nike Mac Attack hype train seems to be in full force. Rumours first surfaced earlier this year in March, but now Nike has officially given us all the grand reveal of what's set to be the first Mac Attack colourway of the year.

Originally debuted in 1984, the Nike Mac Attack is the signature silhouette associated with tennis legend John McEnroe. Characterised by its high top-like construction and futuristic panelling, this latest rendition sees the shoe retain its classic design cues, just with an updated take on materials. The upper portion of the shoe sees a fine mesh underlay accentuated by tonal leather panelling. A black Swoosh and heel tab sit in contrast to the grey details delivering a clean aesthetic.

Atop the tongue, a black and blue checkerboard banner sits against the grain, backed up by a red rendition of Nike's sporting logo. No official release date is available just yet for this silhouette, but according to reports, there's a solid chance we could see it this summer.
