Take a trip down memory lane to a time where southern rap paved the way for modern hip-hop with this The Hundreds x Cash Money Records collaboration! This latest collection celebrates some of the names that laid the groundwork and showcases the distinct and signature style found around the late '90s and early '00s.
For the unfamiliar, Cash Money Records started back in 1991 and was founded by rapper Birdman and his brother Ronald "Slim" Williams. By '96 the label had signed an array of artists including the likes of Lil Wayne, B.G & Juvenile.
Focusing on the early years of the label, this collaboration features all the styles and motifs you would expect to see from the late 90s and early 2000s hip hop. Large bling graphic prints, dollar signs and spray designs all adorn a selection of T-Shirts, hoodies, football jerseys and even a New-Era fitted hat.
To finish the collection stainless steel lighters, a camo bandana and a sticker pack are all featured alongside the garments. The full collection is now available on the Hundreds website as well as at select stockists. In other news, Nike SB showcase Parra designed Olympic skateboard team kits.
