Love them or hate them, you can't deny that Jacquemus x Nike's J Force 1 collaboration last year was a breath of fresh air. Set to build upon previous efforts, the duo has joined forces once again to deliver yet more versions of this unique silhouette, and depending on how you look at things, it might just be their best work yet.
After playing it safe (with the colourway, at least) the first time around, a new version of the J Force 1 has now appeared online, with an aptly named "Earth" moniker. Sporting, well, earthy hues, this model effectively illustrates the French label's knack for breaking the mould.
The sole unit is comprised of white and yellow layers, distinguished by that now-iconic woven motif around the model. Atop this, we see brown mesh underlays contrasted by what looks to be a quality suede overlay. Details arrive in the form of mini gold Swoosh on the lateral walls, as well as a stitched yellow Swoosh patch near the rear.
It's unclear just exactly when we can expect this latest J Force 1 to drop, but it's worth noting that the label is preparing for its forthcoming runway show on the 29th of January, so maybe we'll see a reveal then. Up next, the first preview of the Air Jordan 5 SE “Sail” has landed.
