Renowned footwear designer Joe Freshgoods has been using several models from New Balance's MADE in US line as his canvas in recent years, notably the 99X range. This time, the New Balance 993, which has remained silent since its project with Teddy Santis' Aimé Leon Dore earlier this year, is taking the stage to introduce three pastel colourways with the Chicago-based creative.

Following an Instagram preview from not long ago, Joe Freshgoods further teased an in-hand shot of his upcoming New Balance 993 "Performance Art" collection. Muted shades of "Pink", "Green", and "Blue" make up this collaboration, with each pair boasting a premium blend of suede and mesh synonymous with the Boston footwear label's cherished 990 models. Elsewhere, grey paints the mesh base with yellowish counterparts that give a pre-aged look. Finalising this covetable ensemble are "JFG" and classic New Balance branding details, as well as a dual ABZORB/ACTEVA midsole unit beneath the feet.
The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 "Performance Art" release date is set to release on the 21st of October via New Balance and select retailers worldwide. The "Powder Pink" colourway however is rumoured to be a US exclusive release, although a wider release later is also possible. Nonetheless, always check back here at The Sole Supplier, so you don't miss out on the latest New Balance drops. In related news, Aimé Leon Dore hints at the return of its New Balance 550 collab.
