The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the flowers are growing. Yes, summer is officially here, and what better way is there to celebrate than with the Jordan Brand Summer 2021 Retro Collection?! From future classics to retro revivals, this is a range that you seriously do not want to miss!
Kicking it all off is a quartet of Air Jordan 1s. The Air Jordan 1 "Hyper Royal" is the ultimate summer shoe with a blue distressed suede construction, while the Air Jordan 1 "Shadow 2.0" acts as the spiritual successor to the 2013 classic. We're also finally getting the Air Jordan 1 "Court Purple" which is a slightly modified version of the 1985 OG "Metallic Purple", and of course, the bold Air Jordan 1 "Light Fusion Red" which many of you have already nicknamed the Mickey D 1s.
Stepping off the AJ1 and onto other silhouettes, the Air Jordan 3 "Rust Pink" is infused with pastel elephant prints for an extra exotic vibe, while the Air Jordan 4 "Tech Grey" bears a striking resemblance to the legend that is 2016 "White Cement". The Air Jordan 6 "Electric Green" turns things back to black with clear inspiration from the famous Oregon Ducks PE, and round off this group is the truly iconic Air Jordan 7 "Flint" which is returning for the first time since its initial debut in 2006.
As we reach the end of the collection we begin to see some of the more underrated models including the Air Jordan 11 Low "Citrus", the Air Jordan 11 Low "Legend Blue", and the Air Jordan 12 Low "Easter". These are all ideal for the sizzling summer season ahead. To finish off the pack, Jordan Brand are shocking us all with an alternate version of the "Flint", aptly dubbed the Air Jordan 13 "Red Flint". First leaked at the end of last year, we didn't think these would actually see the light of day but here we are!
Set to drop throughout spring and summer, the Nike Jordan Brand Summer 2021 Retro Collection will begin its rollout with the Air Jordan 12 Low "Easter" on April 4th. The other eleven styles will then release over the next few months across SNKRS and other retailers. Let us know which pair you're feeling the most, and while you're here, you might as well take your best look yet at the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1!
