Your Best Look Yet at the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1
Are you ready for the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1? Undoubtedly one of the most coveted collaborations this year, rumours of this powerful partnership began all the way back in February when La Flame himself was spotted rocking a pair out in the wild. While we've been treated to a bunch of blurry pics since, we're now getting our best look yet thanks to these brand new shots from sneaker insider @yankeekicks!
Paying homage to the fragment design x Air Jordan 1 from 2014, it's been infused with DNA from 2019's Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 "Mocha" resulting in a high heat hybrid that's sure to rock the industry. Painted in a blue and white colourway, a backwards Swoosh shoots across the lateral panel just like the aforementioned AJ1. This is overlaid atop a luxurious tumbled leather construction that's soft to the touch.
Up top, the nylon tongue on the left shoe features a "FRAGMENTDESIGN" tag while the Cactus Jack cross graces the right pair to cement the collab. This co-branded detailing also makes its way around the heel of the Air Jordan 1, with the logos of their respective collaborators proudly debossed at the back.
Shifting your focus down below, you'll find an off-white Nike Air midsole underfoot for a vintage vibe. While this may look plain and simple from a distance, when you squint your eyes you can actually see a line of code that mirrors Hiroshi Fujiwara's signature technical aesthetic. This verbiage was most recently spotted on the fragment design x Nike Dunk High "Beijing" that making a triumphant comeback later this year.
Now for that all-important release date. If the fragment design x Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1 is a pair that you absolutely need in your personal collection, they're expected to drop sometime this autumn. Be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop, and in related news, the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 "Cactus Jack" was just teased on SNKRS!
