Travis Scott has got to be the busiest man in the industry right now. With more Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 6 collaborations currently in the works with Jordan Brand, it looks like La Flame has even more Swoosh heat up his sleeve with the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 "Cactus Jack" - and here's what we know so far!
Officially teased via Nike SNKRS, more specifically their Instagram Story, Scott's take on the legendary Air Max 1 takes inspiration from rugged workboots and the Beaverton brand's own ACG line. Unveiled in a twenty second clip, the AM1 is painted in black, cream, and tan tones and is crafted from a multitude of materials including mesh and leather.
A never-before-seen "Cactus Jack" flag motif adorns the heel to give off a Boy Scouts-esque vibe, while thick red rope laces are reminiscent of hiking shoes. A brand new "CJ" circle emblem is proudly adorned on the tongue, and to round off the video, you can see the American rapper himself rocking them while on an exercise bike, possibly hinting that these Nikes focus more on performance rather than lifestyle.
The video ends with a paragraph hinting that more details on the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 "Cactus Jack" will be available soon, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for the latest info as it develops! Let us know what you think of the teaser so far, and while you're here, you might as well take a side-by-side look at the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 and the OG "Mocha"!
