The Jordan Round Up: Everything We're Looking Forward To

The Jordan Brand has definitely made a shift from hardcore sneakerhead territory into the mainstream in recent years, but this doesn't make them any less desirable. There's so much to look forward before the year is out (because 2022 is on the way, people!) so we've made a list of some of our favourite upcoming sneakers.

From various collaborations such as the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 1 Retro High and the too-hot-to-handle, Dior-inspired Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort Grey Blue, there's plenty of heat to look forward to. Kicking us off is the aforementioned AJ1s. The AMM collaborative pair comes after an extremely successful Jordan 3 release. Covered in a plush suede material, with the addition of fall-ready Swooshes in a maroon snakeskin, there's not a lot to dislike on this pair. On the other end of the spectrum, this icy-blue Zoom CMFT is giving us all the Dior vibes with the light-grey and blue colour scheme ready for the winter months.

If you're wishing that the AMM J1 had a little bit more burgundy on them, then why not opt for the Jordan 1 Retro High OG Bordeaux instead? Dressed in a rich, red wine-hued luxury suede and metallic embellishments on Michael Jordan's 'Wings' insignia, this is the perfect alternative to the previous collaborative pair.

If these aren't colourful enough for you, then why not add the Jordan 1 High OG Hand Crafted to your wishlist? This Air Jordan 1 High brings us an amalgamation of colour, including a mixture of black and chocolate brown wrapped around the collar and toe cap. Of course, all of these Jordans come with that all-important Air cushioning in the midsole, so no matter your style, you're also guaranteed comfort.

Similarly, the Air Jordan 1 High OG Prototype combines a lush mixture of blues and greys, albeit in a different way to the J1 Zoom Comfort, as there's a pop of orange in the form of contrast stitching and detailing on the tongue.

Next up we have the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Iron Ore. Constructed from a mixture of premium tumbled leather and suede panelling, this monochromatic Jordan 1 is a definite one to cop for the winter months. Done up with a pleasing grey lace unit that matches the rest of the upper, we know that these easy-to-style Js are going to be popular upon release.

One of our personal favourites in this list is the Air Jordan 1 High OG SE Atmosphere. Of course we love a pink sneaker, and these tones paired with the indigo accents across the Swoosh, ankle collar, rubber outsole and lace unit really do pop. This spring-ready sneaker will be an ideal cop for next year, so keep locked in to find out a release date soon!

On the other end of the spectrum, the Jordan 1 High OG Bred Patent is one heck of a marmite sneaker. Taking that classic 'Bred' colouring but constructing the J1 from patent leather really works for some people, and not so much for others. Is this one you'll be adding to your collection?

Finally, this fur-lined Jordan 1 Low takes on a similar colour palette to the Iron Ore High above, with differing shades of grey suede dressing the upper. However, this J1 sees a sheep-like lining dress the entirety of the tongue and the ankle collar, guaranteed to keep your toes toasty this winter. Cream laces peep through the fluffy material, but not too loudly as it doesn't want to detract from the star of the show.
