The Kasina x Nike Air Max 1 Colourways are Better Together

A couple of weeks ago we revealed that two new Nike Air Max 1 colourways were on the way, this time in collaboration with Korean Boutique, Kasina. Celebrating their 25th anniversary, Kasina’s Air Max 1 collab explores the theme of being “Better Together” and includes two takes on the silhouette that when put together make the perfect pack.

Rooted in Korean culture, the Kasina x Nike Air Max 1 is inspired by Won-Ang ducks – a set of wooden mandarin ducks that are traditionally given as a wedding gift to signify love and fidelity. Arriving in a “Blue Orange” colourway to signify the male duck, and a more toned-down “Blue Grey” to match the female duck’s colours, both pairs take on a mixed-material construction of leather, suede and pony hair for a fun and exotic touch.

The pairs also feature cute, embroidered detailing, as well as Kasina branding hits at the tongue tab and wooden dubraes. The theme continues with duck-print outsoles, and duck-shaped wooden hang tags, as well as special-edition boxes for a luxurious finish.
