The KAWS x sacai x Nike Blazer Low is Officially Announced

It’s no secret that footwear fanatics go wild for collaborations, so we’re pretty sure that this upcoming three-way effort between KAWS, sacai and Nike is going to turn a few heads! Images of a sacai x Nike Blazer Low first leaked back in July last year and it’s now apparent that the silhouette has also been worked on by none other than KAWS (real name Brian Donnelly), the renowned artist and designer.

After posing teaser images onto his Instagram account, KAWS continued to announce that the trio have worked on an entire capsule collection, with the centrepiece being the Blazer Low. We’ve got no doubts that this is going to be one of the hottest collaborations this year, as both collaborators have huge track records with Nike!

The images posted showcase garments cut in sacai’s signature avant-garde aesthetic, displaying the iconic KAWS “companion” figure that many will already know and love. Bright colours adorn the garments while the Blazer’s appear to be decked out in an orange, white and red colour scheme. The shots only allow us to see a frontal view of the sneakers and so far it’s not clear whether KAWS branding will feature.
