The LeBron x Nike Air Max 95 NRG Is Inspired by the Lakers

It's no secret that LeBron James' favourite Swoosh sneaker is the Air Max 95. In fact, over the years, the legendary basketball player has dropped multiple AM95-inspired pairs including the LeBron 12 and the Nike. Now, with Air Max Day 2021 just around the corner, it sure looks like he's got something up his sleeve in the form of the LeBron x Nike Air Max 95 NRG.

Unveiled by sneaker insider @bighomiekicks80, LeBron's latest take on the Sergio Lozano-designed sneaker pays homage to the Los Angeles Lakers. Arriving with a mismatched aesthetic, the left shoe is painted in a bright yellow hue while the right one takes on a deep purple tone. Detailed like the heel, Air bubbles, and fabric eyelets have been inverted for added contrast, while the mesh panelling and inner lining is dipped in all-black to keep things understated.

Both shoes feature King James' logo on the tongue, and underneath the chunky Nike Air midsoles are personalised outsoles that are adorned with his number and a long list of career accomplishments.

Pretty much nothing else is known about the LeBron x Nike Air Max 95 NRG at this moment in time, but if the rumours are true then we should expect these to drop on Air Max Day 2021 which takes place on March 26th this year.
