The Levi's x New Balance 990v3 Pack Focuses on Each Brand's Signature Traits

After collaborating successfully several times before, Levi’s and New Balance are joining forces once again to show us how it’s done. The duo are both American brands with strong heritage behind them and this is more than evident on this latest collaboration, which uses the New Balance 990v3 as it’s blank canvas. As one of the most-loved NB silhouettes of all time, the pair are strictly reserved for the cream of the crop when it comes to collaborations, although it’s no surprise that Levi’s has made the cut.

The pack is said to be inspired by the most-recognisable signature traits from both brands, which in this case is Levi’s classic indigo denim and New Balance’s greyed-out dad sneakers. It features two separate pairs which each represent one of these traits, with both crafted from premium fabrics and displaying dual-branding for a high-end feel throughout.

While both pairs are crafted from hairy suede and durable canvas, one pair is decked out in varying shades of indigo while the other dons signature NB grey. New Balance’s iconic N logo appears on both the lateral and medial sides of each pair along with Levi’s branding in the form of tabs on each side. Classic 990 branding features at the heels while plenty of padding is located around the ankles.
