Chicago-based visual artist Louis De Guzman is one of the latest figures to enter the sneaker game—landing his first-ever footwear collab with New Balance in late 2020, taking on the brand's classic 574 silhouette that featured a multicoloured palette. This time around, De Guzman will be revisiting the model to give it a sleeker look. We've got a closer look at the Louis De Guzman x New Balance 574 "Black" right here, so read on if you're looking for a fresh addition to your rotation.
The New Balance 574 has remained one of the go-to lifestyle trainers since it debuted in 1988, and up until this day, it still looks as stylish as it was before.

This co-branded offering serves the 574 bearing a premium setup of a blacked-out mesh base with suede overlays in soft lilac and pistachio green for a muted pop of contrast. Although this is interrupted by the bold red collars—not that it matters to die-hard New Balance fans. While the tongues, insoles, and heel caps come with traditional branding deets, the N logos placed on the quarters indulge in De Guzman's signature geometric abstract art, making it truly his own design.
The Louis De Guzman x New Balance 574 "Black" will be launching sometime in September, but no confirmed date as teased by the artist via Instagram. Though be sure you stay locked in right here at The Sole Supplier if you don't want to miss out on the latest New Balance releases.
