After announcing their unexpected partnership in January 2020, Louis Vuitton x NBA has collaborated once more to produce yet another capsule of goods motivated by the exchange of French craftsmanship and America's love for sports.
With Off-White's own Virgil Abloh at the helm, this collection combines familiar LV tropes with a variety of 90s inspired court wear designs to form a collection of eye-catching ready to wear pieces. Throughout the process, Abloh worked alongside famed American streetwear artist Don Crawley to craft select pieces.
The collection itself features an abundance of stand out pieces such as patch adorned leather track jackets, textured two-pieces and the return of the basketball net detailing that appeared in the first capsule. Alongside this, multi-coloured lettering is frequently used atop Louis Vuitton's signature monogram print to create a variety of contrasting silhouettes throughout the collection.
Additional to the clothing, a heavy focus has been applied on a wide range of accessories including heavily logoed sliders and brogues, oversized chains and rings, game-day inspired scarves and even a stylish face mask.
The Louis Vuitton x NBA Capsule Collection II will drop on May 28th at stores worldwide and we're predicting this one isn't exactly going to bank account friendly, so make sure you've got those savings on hand!
