Last month, we showcased the Air Jordan 1 'Fearless Ones' collection, and one shoe that caught everyone's eye was the Maison Château Rouge x Air Jordan 1 that was founder and designer Youssouf Fofana, who first crossed paths with Jordan Brand during the Quai 54 streetball tournament in Paris.
An homage to both African and Parisian craftsmanship, Fofana's creation actually builds on the Air Jordan 1 'UNC' with the same powder blue hue gracing the ankle, heel, and toe box regions. Pastel yellow accents also feature as a nod to his own label, while the brown highlights are inspired by Africa. Throughout the entire upper, a debossed pattern can be found, representing the gathering of multiple cultures in Paris’s Château Rouge neighbourhood.
A shoe that places detailing at the forefront of its design, red stitching runs across the entire model, while a subtle yet striking "Maison Château Rouge" tag adorns the back, finalising the eye-catching aesthetic.
Set to drop via Nike SNKRS and select retailers on November 30th, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier if you want the Maison Château Rouge x Air Jordan 1! Hands down one of the most sought after sneakers of the year, you'd be crazy to not a pair!
