The New Balance 2002R is Getting a Joe Freshgoods Makeover

It was recently unveiled that Joe Freshgoods would be releasing a New Balance 9060 in collaboration with the Boston-based brand. Now, it has been teased that there is also a New Balance 2002R in the works as part of a campaign led and curated by Joe Freshgoods himself. In an Instagram post introducing the "Conversations Amongst Us" sneaker, the Creative Director said:
I'm honored to announce “Conversations Amongst Us” the name of the campaign, led and directed by me for New Balance. I wanted to tell a story of the black experience, emphasizing crucial dialogues that connect the community while inspiring the next generation of black creatives.
In the images, shared by Lee Stuart, the collaborative pair of 2002R sport a cream upper, dressed with mustard and lemon-yellow accents. The large 'N' logo looks metallic silver with sunshine and maroon piping, whilst the New Balance dual-engineered ABZORB and N-ERGY midsole matches the tones of the upper and shows off golden tones.
