After adding an "Oreo" Forum Powerphase to the roster last month, adidas and Bad Bunny's collaborative efforts don't seem to be slowing down any time soon. This month, the duo will now look to release a rendition of the adidas Response CL silhouette, broadening the arsenal of joint projects.
Those who follow the Puerto Rican artist closely might recognise this particular silhouette from when he was spotted wearing them back in April of 2022, but both the images and leaks until this point have been hazy until now. Thanks to retailer Sneaker Politics, we now have a clear-cut look at what to expect when these trainers launch within the coming days.
While much of the Response CL's DNA remains unchanged, a few major differences are now apparent. For instance, the upper panels now feature a layered wave-like effect covering the entirety of the lateral and medial walls. Naturally, adidas' 3-Striped signature is still present, this time with its purple hue complimenting the "Core Black" base. This same purple tint also extends to the heel and rear of the midsole.
As it stands, the Bad Bunny x adidas response CL is set to launch this Saturday, the 24th of June, at retailers such as Offspring. In other footwear news, the highly anticipated Nike Mac Attack "OG" is set to make its return this year.
