Fans of gorpcore styles, you're going to want to listen up. With outdoor styles still all the rage this year, it seems Nike has decided to do some serious digging in its archives and, by doing so, has readied yet another retro rerelease. This time around, Nike ACG is now set to relaunch the Exploraid silhouette as part of the Spring '24 season.
Unless you're in your 30s, chances are you're likely not going to remember the Nike Exploraid's first release back in 1999, but at least now you can pretend you knew about it when it does come out. First revealed by Instagram user @tommycorlito, this latest Exploraid model looks to bear an almost identical silhouette to its pre-millennia counterpart. A split midsole sits underfoot, with one side appearing with a deep black hue and the other a mesh-like effect.
Atop the midsole, we see a robust mix of leather and nubuck overlays with shades of grey, blue, and black working in unison to provide a retro appearance. At the heel, a red-tinted Nike ACG badge sits in contrast to its surroundings, backed up by a Nike Swoosh emblem on the tongue. As it stands, no further details or official images are available, so make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest. In other footwear news, the Air Jordan 11 "DMP" gets done-up with leather uppers.
