In normal circumstances, if you wanted a sneaker that was unlike anyone else's you'd probably have to auction off your organs. With that said, the Beaverton brand is now giving you the chance to cop a truly unique shoe with the Nike Air Force 1/1, and the best part is, you'll still be able to keep your kidneys! A model that was first rumoured at the start of the year, we're now getting our first official look!
From a distance, the 1/1 may look like any old Air Force 1, but upon further inspection you'll find that there's so much more than meets the eye. Featuring a black velcro base, it acts as a literal canvas for you to add different patches as well as interchangeable leather panels. Other options including Swooshes, tongue tags, heel badges, as well as an extra pair of shoelaces for good measure.
Elsewhere, the rest of the shoe is kept the same as the OG with classic perforations on the toebox and a Nike Air midsole that continues to change the game even four decades later.
Expected to launch in the US on December 17th, the Nike Air Force 1/1 should arrive at European shores pretty soon after, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more release info as it develops! Let us know what you think of this ingenious idea, and in related news, the Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 "Flax" is dropping next year!
