Getting prepped for the winter months when you’re a sneakerhead isn’t always easy, suddenly your prized pairs are more vulnerable than ever and in danger of being ruined by the weather. Those of us that are familiar with winter as a sneakerhead know that you need to do some serious preparation in order to get through the wetter and colder months of the year, and your best bet is to find a pair of durable beaters that you can always rely on!

It seems that Nike has offered up the perfect solution this year in the form of the Air Force 1 High Boot “Military Green”. The pair showcase classic AF1 looks combined with an ultra-hardwearing and weatherproof exterior, meaning these will barely get dirty even in the craziest of weathers.

Crafted from synthetic leather across the uppers the pair are cut the same as the iconic AF1 High from 1982 and feature Swoosh logos across both the lateral and medial sides. The high-top silhouette stops just above the ankles and can be securely fastened with a military-style velcro ankle strap along with standard laces. Additional branding can be found at the heels and tongue while the pair sit on top of a full-length Nike Air midsole to ensure optimum comfort at all times.

If you’re looking to get yourself ready for winter in style then the Nike Air Force 1 High Boot “Military Green” is set to launch in the coming weeks, although no official release date has been unveiled just yet.
