It appears the Swoosh Brand wanted to take the "Panda" label a little more literally than just a black-and-white colour palette. The positively wintery and definitely out-of-season Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Panda" has a completely faux-fur upper, which combines a creamy sherpa coating with hairy suede overlays in honour of the pandas in Ueno Zoo in Tokyo.
Releasing as part of Culture Day in Japan, these AF-1 Mids display a material Swoosh on the lateral sidewall, and the jelly Swoosh on the medial. The translucent outsole underfoot shows off the pandas in Ueno Zoo, as well as Japanese characters, fish markets and a giant buddha statue. A velcro ankle strap finishes up the look, contrasting against the beige eyelet panelling.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Panda" will be releasing in Asia at the end of April. Keep it locked to The Sole Supplier to hear about a European release date soon, but you're best bet is to set your release reminders using the links on this page. For more Nike news and releases, download our app!
