For the past couple of years, Nike has launched special edition sneakers to celebrate Halloween, with the most memorable releases being different variations of the Air Force 1 “Skeleton”. For 2021, the Swoosh is revisiting the model once again, this time around debuting it in a shade of “Purple Punch”. This eye-catching colourway sits perfectly on the silhouette and makes for a great addition to the skeletal graphics on either side.

In the past we’ve seen white, black and orange colourways released and all three were greeted exceptionally well by sneakerheads, so we don’t expect this latest pair to be any different. Premium materials are used throughout including supple leather across the uppers, while details include tonal purple Swoosh logos on either side and Nike Air embroidery at the tongues and heels.

X-ray graphics of a foot are the real showstoppers here, while other notable features include glow-in-the-dark midsoles and lace dubraes. To keep things comfortable, a full-length Nike Air unit is concealed within the midsole, while plenty of padding is present around the ankles, meaning like all other AF1s, these are more than capable of enduring a long day of wear without any discomfort.

If you’re liking the Nike Air Force 1 Skeleton “Purple Punch” as much as we are, then you’ll have to hold tight a little longer as there’s no official release date set just yet. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more, and we do expect these to launch in the next few weeks. Make sure to keep it locked in and while you’re here check out the latest colourway of Drake’s Nike Hot Step Air Terra!
