The Nike Air Kukini is one of the lesser-seen model’s in Nike’s back catalogue, although the Swoosh brand has recently revisited the model and is now bringing back some of the most legendary colourways from over the years. The Nike Air Kukini “Cream” was first released back in 1999 and showcases an aesthetically-pleasing arrangement that consists of off-white and grey.
Easily one of the stranger silhouettes from the Beaverton brand, the Kukini showcases an exoskeleton-like TPU cage to help structure the sneakers, while branding is kept minimal in favour of a subtle look. Panelling is crafted from canvas and leather for a premium look, with plenty of padding around the ankles for comfort.
Swoosh logos are embroidered onto the tongues while pull tabs are also present here and on the heels. Leather mudguards are located on the toe box to protect the shape, with this all sitting on top of a white midsole that offers plenty of cushioning and support for a smooth ride at all times.
