Designed to truly celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Nike Air Max 1 Premium "Chinese New Year" is just one of over a dozen styles released by the brand in celebration of the holiday. Imbued with details that are designed to make a statement, this AM1 takes its inspiration from traditional Chinese porcelain bowls.

So, let’s unpack this vivid sneaker. The upper comes coated in a semi-glossy sheen that nods to the gloss found on the decorative bowls. A range of patterns can be found on this Air Max 1; a butterfly print is on the heel, dragon scales are on the lace panel and Chinese coins are stamped into the sides.
