Designed to truly celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Nike Air Max 1 Premium "Chinese New Year" is just one of over a dozen styles released by the brand in celebration of the holiday. Imbued with details that are designed to make a statement, this AM1 takes its inspiration from traditional Chinese porcelain bowls.

So, let’s unpack this vivid sneaker. The upper comes coated in a semi-glossy sheen that nods to the gloss found on the decorative bowls. A range of patterns can be found on this Air Max 1; a butterfly print is on the heel, dragon scales are on the lace panel and Chinese coins are stamped into the sides. Nike’s iconic Swoosh logo comes in bright patent pink and the toe box is finished off in breathable denim.
