With the AM90's 30th anniversary celebrations underway, we're now getting our first look at the Nike Air Max 90 "Galaxy", and it's literally out of this world. Unveiled by sneaker insider @yankeekicks via Instagram, the colourway pays homage to 2012's legendary Air Foamposite One "Galaxy".
Crafted from ballistic mesh, nylon, and suede, the upper is covered with an intergalactic graphic that's decked out with stars. Rubberised eyelets introduce a dash of utility, while shimmering silver accents make their way to the tongue and Nike Swoosh detailing, inspired by an astronaut's mission-ready spacesuit.
Moving down below, you'll find an Air-infused midsole that's been peppered with white speckles to mimic the Milky Way, and to round it all off, a "SN. 2020" hangtag features, referencing the SN2020bio supernova.
Pretty much nothing else is known about Nike Air Max 90 "Galaxy" at this moment in time, but we can expect these to launch very soon! Let us know what you think of this crazy colourway, and while you're here, check out the 25 best Nike Air Max 90s of all time!
