The Nike Air Max Plus 'Atlanta' Proves There's No Such Thing As Too Much Pink

We love a pink sneaker here at The Sole Supplier, and this recently unveiled Nike Air Max Plus 'Atlanta' certainly ticks that box. As part of Nike's Air Max 'City Special' collection, this Air Max sneaker pays homage to the US city, Atlanta.

As you can see, when we say that this Air Max TN Plus doesn't skimp on the pink, we mean it! The whole of this AM Plus adopts a pink-gradient colour palette (lace unit, midsole and outsole included), making this a clean, but brightly coloured, sneaker. With the usual mesh upper we know and love on this AM silhouette, along with the vertically-striped, plastic overlays, the only detailing different on this iteration to other Air Max Plus models is the addition of 'ATL' heel tags, branding on the insole, and the metallic-gold lace locks, again reading 'ATL' for Atlanta.

The Swooshes dressing the medial and lateral sidewalls overlay the ribbed detailing in a silver, shiny material outlined with more pink. The midsole is a slightly lighter shade of rose-tinted pink compared to the upper and leather overlays, allowing the exposed Air units to take pride of place atop the rubber outsole. Velvet cushioning can be seen dressing the ankle padding, adding another material to this colour-blocked shoe.

Said to be releasing alongside the other pairs from the collection on 26th February, you'll have to keep it locked to The Sole Supplier to find out when and where you'll be able to cop a pair of these Nike TN Air Max Plus City Special "ATL" when the time comes.
