If you’ve been around sneaker culture for a few years it’s likely you’ve already come across the Nike Air Presto Mid Utility, however if you’re new to the scene let us introduce you. Acting as a beefed-up utilitarian version of the Nike Air Presto, the mid-top silhouette has developed a cult-like following over the years, although releases can be few and far between. We’ve seen collaborative versions with the likes of ACRONYM, but since then the model had seemingly disappeared off the shelves.
Fresh off the press are official images of a brand-new Nike Air Presto Mid Utility colourway, which has to be the first release in a long time. Decked out in a green, black, blue and yellow get-up, it’s instantly noticeable that the pair has been inspired by Boba Fett’s Mandalorian armour. While this isn’t an official collaboration (Star Wars have an ongoing partnership with adidas), we’re still absolutely loving the aesthetics.
The uppers are crafted from a blend of synthetics, mesh and athletic canvas, with the signature Presto lacing cage making an appearance. Nike Swoosh logos are present on the toe box and heel tabs, while the sock-like upper comes complete with pull tabs at both the front and rear along with a zipped enclosure to make getting these on and off a breeze.
This is placed on top of a full-length Air Presto sole unit which of course displays yet another Swoosh logo on the lateral sides. Plenty of cushioning is concealed within, making these ideal everyday beaters. If you’re as excited as we are regarding the return of the Nike Air Presto Mid Utility, then keep it locked in right here for the latest launch details as we’ll be the first to let you know! In the meantime, check out official images of the latest sacai x Nike collaboration!
