As Nike continues to push the Dunk throughout 2021, some sneakerheads are complaining that the colourways are becoming less interesting, however this certainly isn’t the case with the recently-unveiled Nike Dunk High “Cargo Khaki”. With these images hot off the press, it’s clear that this release is set to be popular with many due to the effortlessly clean looks and classic colour blocking that we all know and love.
Originally launched back in 1984, the Nike Dunk High was designed by Peter Moore and has remained a cult classic ever since. It made a huge revival last year and continues to prove popular with many sneakerheads due to iconic colourways and premium materials. This brand-new variation showcases military-green style panels that are contrasted with pure white, creating a signature Dunk look that also emits instant retro vibes.
Crafted from premium leather across the uppers, the sneakers showcase Nike Swoosh logos on both the lateral and medial sides as well as Nike Air branding on the tongues. Other notable features include a perforated toe box for ventilation and plenty of padding around the ankles and heels, pointing at the fact that these were once a performance basketball sneaker many years ago. This all sits on top of a white midsole and khaki outsole that conceals a full-length Nike Air cushioning unit.
