Think back. It's February 2021. Nike has just dropped a collection of pastel-hued Dunks that every woman and her dog are lusting over. Included in said pack was the coveted Nike Dunk High "Football Grey". A neutral-toned sneaker that was perfect for spring, our favourite shade of blue, and easy to style regardless of your taste in trends. Inevitably, this made the Dunk extremely hard to get hold of. The vintage tones used across the upper and midsole were particularly tasty, making the L even more difficult to swallow.
One year on, the Swoosh Brand have remixed the popular iteration into a 'reverse' edition of the colourway.
Leaving the vintage, off-white tones behind, this Dunk High (pictured in GS sizing) combines crisp-white overlays with the titular "Football Grey" colouring sat underneath. White laces tie up the sneaker from top to toe, matching to the iconic Swooshes on the sidewalls, whilst Nike's branding label sits at the top of the tongue in the light-blue colour. Perforations across the toe box add comfort and breathability, whilst a grey rubber outsole gives the sneaker the durability and bounce we expect from a Dunk High.
We don't yet know when the Nike Dunk High "White/Football Grey" will be dropping in either GS or adults' sizing, but keep it locked to The Sole Supplier as we'll be sure to let you know as soon as more information is released.
