It’s already well-documented that 2021 is the year of the Dunk and now a brand-new iteration titled the Nike Dunk Low “Flip the Old School” has just been unveiled. The wild-looking mismatched pair break the mould when it comes to design, featuring a never-before-seen upside-down Swoosh that will no doubt anger a few sneaker purists!
The pair reference a Nike Dunk High release from 1999 titled the “City Attack”, showing off the same colour-blocking pattern. If you’re already liking the look of this upcoming pair then read on to find out all you need to know when it comes to release information and how to cop.
Crafted from premium leather, the uppers of the sneakers come totally wrapped in removable box paper, much like the recently unveiled Air Force 1 “Keep ‘Em Fresh”. Underneath, the sneakers showcase classic panelling and Nike’s Swoosh logo across both the lateral and medial sides, with the left sneaker reversed for a dramatic effect.
Yellow Nike Air branding is located at both the tongues and heels for another premium look, while each sneaker sits comfortably on top of a full-length midsole unit filled with Air technology, making these a pair you’ll be able to keep on for days at a time without any comfort issues. If you’ve owned a pair of Dunks before you’ll know what we’re talking about!
