It seems like every week a brand new Dunk Low gets leaked or announced, and to be honest, we're not even mad. One of the hottest silhouettes of the year, we're now taking our first look at the Nike Dunk Low "UNLV", and we think it's one of the best colourways in a while.
While new sneakerheads may see the Off-White x Nike Dunk Low "University Red" in these, they're actually directly inspired by the OG "UNLV" that debuted as part of 1985's legendary "Be True To Your School" Pack. Originally released as a Dunk High, this shoe pays homage to the University of Nevada Las Vegas Runnin’ Rebels basketball team, complete with their signature scarlet and grey colour palette.
"Nike" branding adorns the tongue and heel, while a Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels. To round it all off, a clean cut midsole sits underfoot in a pristine white hue, finalising the truly iconic aesthetic.
Expected to launch sometime in 2021, the Nike Dunk Low "UNLV" should definitely not be missed, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops. Let us know what you think of this legendary colourway, and while you're here, you might as well take an on-foot look at the Futura x Off-White x Nike SB Dunk Low "UNC"!
