An On-Foot Look at the Futura x Off-White x Nike SB Dunk Low "UNC"

When we first caught a glimpse of the Futura x Off-White x Nike SB Dunk Low "UNC" last summer we knew straight away that it was going to be a must cop. Made in collaboration with Futura Laboratories, the three-way partnership was presented at Off-White's Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020 show alongside another colourway, and now, we're taking our closest look yet!

Unlike Abloh's other Dunk Low collabs, the "UNC" is a SB shoe, meaning it's designed for skateboarding. Painted in the classic University of North Carolina colour palette, the upper is crafted from nothing but the finest leather making it sleek and smooth to the touch. A Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, and just like the aforementioned Dunks, this particular pairs boasts a trail shoe-inspired lacing system where you get the traditional flat laces as well as a zig-zag setup for the ultimate lockdown fit.

Down below, you'll find a Nike Zoom midsole for added comfort and this is lined with an icy blue rubber outsole underfoot. To round it all off, "FL" detailing can be found throughout as a nod to Futura Laboratories descending upon the tongue and heel, finalising the legendary Off-White x Nike shoe.

While the Futura Laboratories x Off-White x Nike SB Dunk Low "UNC" isn't expected to release anytime soon, it's interesting to see what's currently in the pipeline.
