Even though the Nike Dunk is turning 35 years old this year, it has become evident that the hype train isn't stopping anytime soon for this particular Swoosh silhouette. A shoe that's probably older than most sneakerheads these days, the Beaverton brand is now going back in time to revive one of the most iconic colourways ever made - the Nike Dunk "Syracuse".
Returning in a low cut form, the "Syracuse" originally debuted as part of the "Be True To Your School" Pack from 1985. Decked out in smooth premium leather, this Dunk Low is painted in a striking orange and white palette. Classic details such as the lateral and medial Swoosh make a comeback, while "Nike" branding graces the tongue and heel.
2020 has already been a massive year for the Dunk Low, and we're literally only two months in. From the wildly popular "Plum" to the highly coveted collaboration with StrangeLove Skateboards, this shoe is still as legendary as it was back in the day.
As for a release date, the Nike Dunk "Syracuse" Orange Blaze is already available overseas. However, a European release is definitely on the cards, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for an official launch date as it's announced. Let us know what you think of this colourway, and in related news, the next Off-White x Nike sneaker combines the P-6000 with the Dunk Low!
