Summer is on the horizon and the Oregon-based brand's skateboarding team are treating us to the Nike SB Dunk High 'Hawaii'. This is not the first time Nike have adorned the Dunk silhouette with a design that pays homage to America's island state: these Highs follow on from the Dunk Low releases from 2005 and 2011.
Revealed by sneaker insider @yankeekicks, we take our first look at this summery pair of Nike Dunks. Dressed in a floral print built from greens, blues and coral-coloured hues, the Swooshes on this Nike SB Dunk High stand out on the medial and lateral sidewalls in a vintage, sail tone.
These Swooshes are constructed from a hemp material that is similar to the one used on Stussy's Nike Air Force 1. This fabric can also be found used on the tongue, which brandishes a bright, orange Nike SB branding label on the top. Underfoot, a creamy, sail outsole contrasts nicely against the crisp-white midsole, whilst a cream lace unit ties this Dunk High together from top to toe. Unlike other Dunk iterations, this high top doesn't come equipped with the usual perforations on the toe box.
Set to be the pair to cop this summer, keep it locked to The Sole Supplier to find out when and where you'll be able to purchase the Nike SB Dunk High Hawaii when it releases. And whilst you're here, why not check out another Dunk High set to drop this summer: the Nike Dunk High Retro 'Game Royal'.
