Halloween sneakers are nothing out of the ordinary for Nike, in fact, many sneakerheads eagerly anticipate the spooky sneakers each year. With Dunk hype in full swing and showing no signs of slowing down, it’s the perfect time for leaked images of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Mummy” to be unveiled. Inspired by ancient Egyptian mummies, the release is decked-out in a neutral-hued colourway reminiscent of bandages.
Also displaying a frayed look, these are certainly a hot-looking release that many are going to be eyeing up already. We’ve got a first look right here at The Sole Supplier, so read on for the low-down on how to cop and when they’re set to release!
Crafted from frayed canvas panels in true mummy fashion, the uppers showcase tonal stitching throughout along with baby blue suede Nike Swoosh logos on both the lateral and medial sides for an instantly-recognisable branded touch. Other notable features include fluorescent green Nike SB logos at each tongue and heel with spooky-themed drip text and embroidered spiders.
The action all happens underfoot though, as these Dunks are sat on top of a fully glow-in-the-dark midsole, a feature that has appeared on many halloween releases over the years. Of course, all the usual cushioning is located within the sole to ensure that these are more than comfortable to act as daily steppers, or even daily skaters!
If you’re liking the look of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Mummy” as much as we are, then you’ll have to hold tight a little longer just yet. As the pair is indeed a halloween release, it’s likely we won’t see a launch until October. Make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest as it unfolds and while you’re here check out the Jordan 1 High ‘85 “College Navy”!
