The Nike Shox TL "Racer Blue" is Inspired by the OG Air Max Plus

Nike Shox
By Jack Aldrich • Content Writer • 08 Jun

The Nike Shox TL “Racer Blue” is the latest rendition of the classic silhouette that’s recently made a huge resurgence. Originally launched in 2003, the Shox TL showcased full-length Shox cushioning and was undoubtedly the trainer of the moment. After a high-profile re-release in 2019, Shox technology is back in the spotlight and arguably more popular than ever.

This latest “Racer Blue” release draws inspiration from the OG Air Max Plus colourway, which acted as a huge inspiration during the design process behind the Shox TL. The combination of 1990s and 2000s classics seen here makes for a head-turning look that Nike Air fans will no doubt be looking to get their hands on.

The gradient-like colourway adorns the entire upper of each shoe, with Nike’s signature Swoosh logo embellished onto each side for a subtle branded touch. Range-specific branding resides at the tongue, while blue Shox cushioning forms the entire sole unit. These will no doubt be a popular model upon launch, so make sure you’re clued up on how to cop!

While these are already available stateside, no official release date has been set for the UK or Europe just yet, so stay locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest updates as they happen. While you’re here, check out the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Smoke Grey” that’s launching this week!
